Aleksander Rasztawicki
Product designer
My name is Aleksander Rasztawicki,
I was born in Gdańsk, Poland – a coastal city that shaped my love for the sea and nature. Today, I live in Hamburg, another city by the water, which for me perfectly reflects the harmony between urban life and nature.
My journey, however, began in the kitchen:
As a chef in fine dining, I learned how essential perfection, quality, and attention to detail are. These values also shape my work as a designer – clear lines, functionality, and durability are always at the forefront.
My interest in design was instilled in me from an early age:
My family runs its own architecture firm, so aesthetics and functionality have always been inseparable for me.
During my studies in product design, I had the privilege of working
with Monica Förster, one of Europe’s most renowned designers.
There, I not only developed a sense for shapes and materials but also internalized the importance of balance and innovation in design.
My goal is to create timeless pieces that not only captivate aesthetically but are also functional and sustainable – designs that resonate with people and build a connection between space, nature, and everyday life.
